    85 Maxima carputer

    The car:

    1985 Nissan Maxima

    Stereo:

    JVC KD-SH9750
    stock nissan door and deck speakers
    Mobile Authority tweeters in the doors
    Altec Lansing 240w bridged to a 12" RF series 1

    The carputer:

    PII-400
    192mb ram
    6.4g hd
    dvd drive
    Mobile Authority 7" TFT in custom pullout/flip-up housing.

    So far these are the only pics I have of it.

    Not bad looking, I like the stealthing you did. I myself have to do some stealthing on all my components too I think. Considering I am putting about $2500 into my system I can't afford for anything to be stolen.. Oh well just more work to do in the end....

    You are correct, but the system I am building will go into the '66 Mustang Fastback I will be restoring this summer...so I think it will all work just nicely together.

    Ok, here are some more pics,

    Windows desktop
    ME 1.77

    I find windows to be quite legible using an ATI Rage's tv-out with a TFT monitor.
