These pics didn't come out too good cause the lighting was bad. The flash makes it look too shiny. It's not glossy like that in real life. I'll take some more pics when I get my LCD from Armen in a few days.

If anyone wants a textured coating, try some rubberized undercoating from 3M, with a flat black, it looks quality, and feels nice too. I'm sure it would look ok with other colors too, just no gloss. You will lose some "resolution" using the rubber, but it will also hide any imperfections.

srctsc: Nice job! Having done exactly the same project, I can't begin to imagine how you have done it two or three (or more) times over already without going insane! Practice makes perfect, huh?
Out of curiosity, are you going to be selling these mounts for the 7" screen like you were selling the others? I am thinking that I'd like to include a knob or two for control in my bezel next to the screen, but my current design does not leave any room for it.

I will be selling these to anyone that wants one. While there's certainly room for a knob or buttons, I would prefer to place them in the ashtray area. I think it looks cleaner without them. Course it depends on the knob you want to use. E-mail me and we'll talk more about it.

How do you plan on mounting the screen to that faceplate?
I've got an E36, but I need ideas as to how you guys securely mount the screens to the faceplates/consoles. Here's a quick and crappy PSHOP of what my install will look like. I'm trying to locate a screen with no buttons and plain black frame so it looks as close to stock as possible.

So how is the bezel secured to the trim piece?Originally Posted by srcstc

Ah, ok...Great work. I've seen your previous Pioneer install on the Bimmer boards when you first did it...Truly great work man. Where in NJ are you from?Originally Posted by srcstc
