dude its going to look badass.
I'm new to the forum and just wanted to post some teaser pics of a project I've been working on. It's a custom Trim for the Xenarc 7" LCD.
Here's a photoshopped pic I made of how it's going to look when finished.

Here's an actual pic that I just took showing how it looks so far.

very nice job. how do you mount the lcd to the trim?
and do you have a pic for how it looked before you started?

Thanks. I used the front faceplate from the Xenarc to make this so the LCD will mount right to it. I won't be using the buttons because there isn't enough room. I might just run some extensions to buttons in the ashtray or something.Originally Posted by shakes
This isn't my car but this is how it looked. The radio was in the top half and the AC in the bottom. The AC is easily relocated to the bottom.
so did you fab that entire trim piece? out of foam?
i've seen a lot of people fiberglassing the covers of their LCD panels into the dash. i'm trying to avoid that sho I can use it later if need be. we'll see how it goes over these next few weeks.

These are some pics of the previous screen I had in there. In these pics you can see where the AC gets relocated. I made this trim also.
