Great install!
I am going through the same with my Passat V6. Is that a Lilliput you mounted on the double-din space? If it is; what did you do about the button "console" that sticks out of the bottom of the lilliput?
Also, what did you do about the audio? Did you bypass the monsoon amplifier?
Thanks,
yes its a lilliput screen, i carfully cut off the buttons frame with a sharp knife and made a new one of fiberglas.
i also had to put a longer ffc cable between the panel and the button pcb.
im not using the orginal amplefier, i have mounted a DLS 4*50W but i have no pivtures of that yet.
I have some strange noice from the fans in the computer, but i have a crystalline pre-amplefier that will solve the problem (from the time when i was competing in car audio).

I'd be interested to know how you wired the amplifier to the speakers. Did you use the built-in ones, the two pairs of tweeter and subs?
Thanks,
Very nice.
The volume control knob is a Powermate USB. It's made for macs originally. Looks like he made some kind of plexi bottom for it that fits in the cup holder. Cool glow!
I'm about to install a CarPC in my friends 1.8T Wolfsberg. The wires look the same.
LESLIEx317537: exactly, i have mounted it on a 10mm thick plexi that i have painted black on the backside.
Alric: I have apair of new cabels that runs from the amp to front. Then they are connected to the built-in ones.
I was looking for a 6ch amp but i didnt find any for a good price. then i could have used the back speakers to rear channel, the other two channels to the sub and center..![]()
