That is the same Kisosk PC I have.. bought it off eBay about a few months ago. How is it working for you in the car? I'm not sure if I'm going to use it in my vehicle or just save it to x10 the house...

i installed the same Kiosk in my tundra, except i just sat the pc on the transmission casing and put a peice of cardboard under it to angle it up for better viewing. i feel its better that i dont rip a giNORMOUS HOLE IN MY DASHBOARD. for several reasons, first being i dont want to discover that the entire inside of my dashboard is melting away with a little RUST DUST!! JESUS CHRIST!!!! WHAT ARE YOU DOING SIR???

Know whats really funny...ALL CARS DO THAT!!! Most manufacturers (I say this because I am sure somebody does....) dont coat any of the tins or inner metals, so after a few years, they get surface rust. It is very very common, I would be willing to bet your car has it too. Admittedly it is ugly, but rust assured it is normal in every way.

I gotta say, anyone that has the testicular fortitude to cut up their dash like that makes me wonder what the end result will be. Hard to hide, thats for sure!

The rust problem must be only with the American built cars.

I got 1990 Hyundai Sonata with 260K and there is no rust under the dash all of the pipes are painted and it uses anodized and galavanized pieces.

I had an 89 Escort GT and the same year I had rust in the dash braces.
