    Wow, this is fantastic! Just like a factory piece! You can't really see the song titles though, but who cares if you have a cool visualization to look at while on the highway!
    Seriously though - amazing install.

    Your GPS video is a little scary - it just feels like driving on the wrong lane

    lol cheers - the bottom screen is a 20x4 character LCD all hooked up. It gives the track playing info when your in video / visualuzations ( and hopefully GPS if coyote changes his software )

    Jamez, where ya get the charecter lcd? and how does it connect up? i've already got a lilliput installed but that would be a nice addition to show song while GPS/vis is on.

    I work for an electronics distributor so I just picked one up from work - www.jprelec.co.uk - but you get get them at all sorts of electronics places.
    It's a parellel interface ( for mediacar to support it needs to be parallel 20x4 display )

    nice work, dude! but does the LCD seem too low? you make the install seem so easy. i'm still working on mines.

    it's ideal down there surprisingly - low enough that you don't get distracted by movies at night and doesn't get any glare during day

    well it's also time for more pics - this time it's of the finished boot install, my PC doesn't take up any room in the boot now it's all behind a panel

    the panel houses 2 fan's, a power light, a status light, a dual temp gauge and a voltmeter
