    Really nice!

You've nailed exactly what I plan on putting in my MR2. In fact, after a couple years of waiting, I might get started on it this month.

Anyone else have issues with the lilliput and the sun? It makes it really hard to read considering I have a glass t-top. Taking the tops off makes it even worse.

Yep, I have a sunroof and the damn Lilli is basically useless during the daytime.

really? I use my carputer all day and it is "weak" in the daylight but I can still see it just fine. ANd I love the idea of the carputer encased in a "box" in the backseats but why not have the mobo point inward so that you can connect the wires and totally close out the case except the fans?
    Mine needs to be updated.

Isn't that just the most perfect place for a mini-itx? Could the fit BE any tighter? :-)

    Nice installed.
Does your radio bezel material look like this one (soft plastic cover with rubber like) Rubberized dashtrim and fiberglass/bondo If so, will bondo stick to it? What kind of paint/brand are you using to paint the bezel? Thanks

nah, the MR2 is just textured plastic. No rubber on it. I believe the MKI MR2 has a rubber coating on the interior, I've heard Superclean will take it off.

You should see the crappy install I did on my black car... hahaha... but this was back in the day when a car PC was just a PC with a little LCD readout. I stuck in a 5.6" TFT with GPS nav. I had to outdo the other mp3 cars.. hahaha... but these days, parts are so cheap and seems like everything's been done so it's hard to be creative and outdo others again...
