Hey Enforcer,

I'm not sure if you've answered this in your previous posts and everything.. Can an iPod be intergrated into the carputer? so, once the ipod is plugged in music option for ipod music automatically comes up?

Thinking about putting one in my car.. not sure how it's done or anything, want to know the perks..

iPods are not my thing really.

I know RideRunner can read iPods I believe also CentraFuse can, but not having I don't know how well they integrate.

Also depends on the version of ipods, the newer ones use encryption. You can always use an AUX-out and control songs from the ipod.

that's true forfend.. although how would i get an AUX-out in the car? put in glovebox or something?

Hey Enforcer, I'm facing this climate problem now .. I'm worried to open the A/C panel and leave the circuit to heat and dust .. any problems faced after these years ?

So, I should get rid of the back of the climate ? Any pictures will be a great help ..

The only issues the CC's have had in there is when I have taken them out again and managed to split one of the connecting ribbon cables, but that was my fault.

Both boards are covered with a protective layer, so dust is not an issue, the heat is no more than it would get when in it's normal place.

Ok! I think I'm gonna have to do it. I just can't imagine how u did it .. you removed the 2nd board inside the cover completely out and total get rid of the cover ?

What protection layers do you mean .. the ones built in on the board or you added a protective layer ?

does it matter where the power is connected to? or it just needs to give the pc some juice when the ignition is turned on? what fuses should be used for m2-atx?

wire thickness matters?

Well you need two differnet power sources, a permanent and one that only gets power when the ignition is on.

As for fuses, it depends on what your system will be drawing, I have a m4-atx so mine will be different to yours.
