I'm hoping to install mine in the dash of my Frontera (When I get it). And it would be nice to know how complicated it is to use bondo/fiberglass to get the job done nicely.
Did you just fill out where the old console used to be?
Cheers

well actually it is not too complicated, I never did this before, even haven seend the fiberglass beforeOriginally Posted by chewiee
besides it I have used bolts to fix the monitor frame. If you have looked at the pictures, there is complete sequence of fiberglass/bondo/glue-ing the dash, I have used original dash, yes, where HU was. I did myself fiberglass, sanding and bondoing, that is on pictures, but final bondo and painting was done by proffessional car painting master in car repair service, it costed about 7$ to me, so I decided to give it to the master rather doing/spoiling it myself.

Now, I am waiting for VoomPC case and M1-ATX, will redesign the electronics slightly. Also want to put Linux, which will boot from CF, but could not get normal frontend so far... thinking about putting PyCar..

Yeah, well the pics take a bit of time to download unfortunatlly...
Why no CD? A slot load would've looked sweet under the screen.
