    Talking Finally my carputer in 97 Subaru Outback Sport

    I finally got it working.
    My setup can be seen in my signature, but here they are anyway.

    Car: 1997 Subaru Outback Sport
    Mother board: EPIA M10000
    Display: Xenarc 700TS
    Power: ITPS & PW-70A
    Memory: 512MB
    HDD: Maxtor 40GB
    DVD: Panasonic Slot Slim DVD Drive
    Software: Windows XP, MediaCar, Routis 2004, WinDVD

    Well, pictures can discrive a lot better than I can with works,
    so check here for photos

    Many thanks to all of you help me get it finished!!
    I could definately not be able to do this alone.

    Let me know what you guys think.

    man, that area beneath the screen is begging for some switches, or a VFD, it looks barren. But that's just me.

    Where in TN are you, by the way?

    Yeah, you are right. I was thinking about what I can do there and couldn't really finalize, so I left it blank. This is only the start and I can add more later. I wanted get something running.

    I'm in Knoxville.

    Another Outback Sport! How are you thinking about your system?

    Like in my case, I did not want anything in my trunk area. Or since I put a lot of stuff in trunk like fishing gear so trunk space was not an option.

    I would like to hear what you are thinking for your setup.

    Ill just say...that all you people who have all this extra room to work with just make me sick. Sick I say, sick! Nice setup all the same though

    You've exactly the installation I'm planning to do!!
    Same disposition (I'll try with horzontal MB placement), same MB and yesterday I've take a look on the same amplifier
    The car is slightly different but who cares?
    Are your drives powered by the ITPS?

    Extra space has its own issue, too. What to fill the space with!!
    Since this was my first car modification, the extra space was very forgiving.
    All I need to do know is to find something to add

    MB, HDD, DVD and a few USB devices are powered by ITPS.
    Monitor and USB hub are getting power from car.
