sorry I haven't replied in a while, been very busy lately. Not much has changed on my setup, I upgraded the RAM to 1 stick of 256MB, and got an Optima Red Top battery (old battery wasn't keeping a charge overnight, I have no idea how old it was since it was in the car when bought it. The optima had enough power to start the car right up after leaving it for 9 days while I was on vacation).

how did you strap your mobo, hdd, and etc to the back seat? anything underneath it?

The rear seat has a metal backing under the carpeting and I just used some self tapping sheet metal screws (1/2" long) to hold it all up.

The inversed color screen (yellow text on black) actually has A LOT of glare in sunlight. it's very hard to read on a bright sunny day (can just see reflections of the dash and stuff), but I really love it at night. I might try to change how I mounted it (recess it further back into the console) and put some sort of anti-glare cover on it.
