your already off to a good start. you can convert your lilliput into an indash unit, if you have the soldering skills needed. If not send it to digitalww.com and they'll do it for 60 bucks. The in-dash housing is 90 bucks. enjoy.
Cheers for the link, im going to have a good look into this as I think it would be much better for vision to have it in dash! I would have done this originally but I did not quite fancy making a mess out of the dash when I had only just bought the car.Quote:

Those ground loop isolators saved my system... But for some weird reason after a little bit of changing the wires around the isolator made it sound even worse then when I took it off it sounded perfect, I mean I can't here any noise AT ALL, just some alt whine. Crazy, huh?
there's nothing wrong with the gearshift in a uk-spec CTR. i love it. so easy to use and great positive shift.
suppose most on here don't know how to use a gearbox though :P

i've currently sold my gti-6 which had a fantastic install in it, but kept the computer, so got a proper good spec VIA EPIA to install when i can figure out what to do with my setup.
the double DIN slot is handy for a silly fold-out screen along with a head unit. except that when it's out it blocks the heater vents. really handy....not.
i want to keep my head unit, but the screen would be perfect in its place and i don't want a lame head unit install that doesn't look OEM so i'm stumped for now..
