not really, it should only be a tad over 120 watts when it's working hard.
I'd much rather this and have a bit of grunt (I can play older era games no worries e.g vice city, max payne) than pay triple for a mini itx.

neat idea and looks good! but as long as you keep the pic w/ the cassette tape up, you keep the seal of approval =)

Nice install I owned an 83 Ford Fairmont when I was back in Australia. Seeing pictures of this LTD brought back some memories.
Spent all my money on carputers now I have to work a real job.

not really a nice install (especially compared to the stuff you do lol) but thanks!

everyone seems to get an old falcon/fairlane etc when travelling in australia lol, you can get 'em for next to nothing and nothing really goes wrong with them. when it does everyone knows how to fix it and the parts are too easy to find... makes sense I guess

that mouse is far too good, you need a ball serial.

Its def. 'dodgy' (uk) (or bodged, butchered)

Wow that is great. How hard was it to move the steering wheel to the right side of the car?

Bodgy, you are a dead set legend. Before I read your post I was too nervous to start on my carPC for fear it wouldn't be; fast enough, good looking enough, small enough ect, ect.
After reading about your project I've bought a micro-atx mobo, P3 processor and 256M of RAM. If it doesn't work then I'll just try somethig else, but at least I'll be having some fun!
