1997 Sunfire GT Installed FINALLY!!!

Hey guys,

First off I'd like to say be not afraid of the amount of dirt and unkept wires lol. I'll clean it... eventually. I was mostly just psyched to get the darn thing in after so many years of planning. So here's the specs:

Compaq SFF EN Deskpro
P2 450 192MB Ram
60GB 7200RPM HDD
Matrox PCI vid card for PSONE Screen
Sounblaster Extigy Sound Card
Dlink DWL-120+ USB Network Adapter
Creative remote
400watt Inverter

The system itelf is pretty sweet it doesn't draw enough power to shutdown while cranking. Plus its almost small.

I still have to make an enclosure for the LCD, and clean up some of the cable runs, plus strap the computer more securely, but other than that she's purring like a kitten. I appreciate any comments other than clean your car. Toodles!

where did you get the touch screen? and how much?

its not a touchscreen, its a sony PSone screen.

As for the install, good work but you might want to de-ghetto rig it.
Get some bondo and make a nice bezel for the screen.

Look like no one take that clear plastic off the PSOne. I didn't. That plastic help cut off some glare.

lol Ghetto thats a good word for it. Yeah as I said just had to get the bloody thing in there tired of listening to mp3s in my shop. Gonna grab my bondo kit this weekend hopefully, and start on that. tata
