Freak show - 22 year old Nissan install

lol :D That car is already sold, with the working computer system :D
Its audio system was no use as well, so I just put 4 computer speakers 2x75 watt.
We actually got a pretty good price on that junk :)
Also - this particular LCD was made from two different LCDs (the backlight is from another computer) so the backlight was sticking out a bit. I don't think you would have wanted to take that one anyway :D

Don't worry, I'm pretty sure that with the right operating system (like Windows 95 or 3.1) your 100 mhz laptop will be able to play 192 kbs MP3 without a glitch :D

where was the base of the laptop? i also have a laptop but have given up considering using it in my car.

What base? The laptop was reduced in size by about 75% after I finished messing with it's casing. I put it in the dash where the stereo once was.

The car is a 1892 Nissan Maxima (it was Datsun at the time). The computer specs are pretty much same as my current configuration (see my signature) only that one was running Windows 95 and it was a Pentium 120. Still played my MP3s perfectly and amused many of my friends :D
