I was able to order a few panels in case I goofed up..... So I was not to scared to experiment. Had to have my friend Rick put the finishing touches on it and paint it. He fabricated a mount so the screen is mounted inside to console so the only realy way to get at the back of the monitor is to remove the whole middle part of the dash itself.... Takes an hour just to disassemble, but is the most sturdy design we came up with.

I'm mounting my PC in a Crossfire too.

I want a similar setup but can't seem to part with the head unit, A/C vents, relocating my switches, voiding my warranty (car has 1,300 miles).

Does anyone have a ready-made dashtop bezel made for this car? any links?

Not to get too off topic but I've always found Merc's engine designs kind of... weird. Dual spark plugs, SOHC, 3 valves/cylinder.

Ah well, they're going to DOHC 4 valve now, so it's a moot point.

Oh, and your install is perfect, that's exactly how I want mine to look. You have guts man, major props.

Could you please post new pics as I would like to see this again before I start in on my crossfire, please. And a question is the vent control a cabel like a spedo or a wire and switches?
