very nice install, now why did you bondo/fiberglass when the unit was still on the car? I'm just learning how to do this stuff and doesn't it get really hot when it cures? What type of paint did you use also?
Thanks!
Thanks for the comments, i'm sure other car makers had a hand in it also. A few more picuters to see the screen install.

I am not an expert in anyway, but I will answer your questions they best I know.
Thanks for the compliment

Chuckie ... nice screen work. The ME skin you're using makes it match the rest of the interior exactally ...
AClean ... FWIW, I found that when fabing a screen bezel, sometimes it's good to let the bondo dry with the bezel installed ... sometimes when you take trim out of a car, it will flex a bit ... adding bondo and letting it dry in that flexed position could cause extra stress when you install the trim back in the car and it stretches back to it's original position.
I'd still say apply the bondo outside the car if possible ... but let it dry installed (at least for the first few coat)

I have worked on the screen (more sanding) and a new skin with the help of a friend of mine.

post another pic of the sanding work that you did. It needs more light. The skin looks cool BTW
