I have not had a problem with them interfering with the computer

Nice install, the dash looks really good.
Couple of questions, how are you using the stock radio, are you connecting the output from the computer to the headunit? If so what are you using to achieve this?
Installed
Asus A7N8X-VM - AMD Mobile Athlon 2400
512 Ram - 60GB HD - Opus 150w
Lilliput 7" - Rikaline 6010

Are you using an auxialliary input convertor to get the audio into your head unit?Originally Posted by Quattro-A4

I am currently using a Clarion FM modualor to connect the pc to the stock deck. However, I am seriously looking into changing it to use the aux port (the cd changer is currently attached to it) I wanted to see how much I would use the changer after the install. I can sum up my changer usage in one word......"never."Originally Posted by Quattro-A4
The car pc is not as loud as before and the deck seem to go into a safe volume-ish mode so i need to turn the volume up on the deck to crank it. Other wise in normal volume no need. It would also sound a bit cleaner too. I tell people who have listened to it and they call me crazy when I say that. The bose system sounds good but lacking in bass but I solved that by adding a 10 DVC Infinity to the system and really turning the bass down and letting the sub fill that area.
When I moved the stock radio all i had to do was (cut the back of the glovebox) extent the ground wire a bit to still be connected. No other wire was cut not even the hazzard lights, which are accessable to the driver. You need to know where the are though.

Wow nice install you got there! Think it was your install that gave those people at Audi the idea to standard equip the new A6 with an MMI.![]()
Why is it drug addicts and computer afficionados are both called users?
