    LCD Monitor

    Looks nice! Great job!

    Which monitor is that?

Looks good. I am looking for a in-dash monitor. Does not have to be TS.

Can you tell me where you got that at, any links?

    Thanks

    Lucho

Seems to me that you were quite happy to point that out.. Hater. The Evo did come to the US, and it is quite a well performing car. Next time you want to hate on someone else's car, stop and think about what you drive... An Alero??? jeeze.

btw - thats a pretty lame 1st post on this forum...

Nice setup. I like the EVO too, but I choose to just take the money I save from getting a WRX and upgrading it to get it to my standards.

Well, i don't hate to point this out..... i do have an EVO VIII, and it is fully built w/ over 600 HP. So, lets put my "crappy american knock-off" up against whatever in the hell you want to bring. Got a Viper, bring it. Oh,and I already have a WRX. It's a silver 2004, and it's my beater. Thanks anyway....Punk.

i totally understand. it's taken a bit to talk myself out of modding my wrx. they respond soooo well to the slightest mods. the evo has taken everything out of me though, and has responded in huge ways. it's unreal on the street and the track.

First off - that is one of the nicest EVO's I've seen. The rims are absolutely perfect though I prefer the lower profile wing - I guess to each his own. I like the clean look you have and you haven't riced out the car.

Also, was going to ask. Can you spend a few minutes and talk about the pull out unit from Digital WW (I'm assuming it's the new DWW-7VGT with the Lilliput screen).

I'm looking to get this unit in the next 3 months. Can you let me know if you had any problems with the unit, the installation, the inputs, and anything else? How is the pull out mechanism - does it shake or wiggle when you drive? Are the video connections solid and does the picture look good? Is it constructed well? Lastly, is the screen readable in the sunlight?

Sorry for all the questions but I figured you would be the best source (other than Armen) for this since you did the install.

well first off, thank you very much. my evo is my baby. that wing is not my favorite either, but it was stock, so it stays.

the unit from Armen is very nice. I had some issues in my car because the din is a bit tighter than normal, so the screen has to stay out. i could push it in, but it would be forced. don't want to break it. again, in my car, the screen shakes just a little at idle. BUT, my car shakes like a v-8 at idle because of the cams. I don't think a "normal" car would have any issues at all. I did have Armen solder up the screen to the housing. I don't trust my shaking hands w/ that stuff. The screen/housing combo is just awesome. The quality is top notch. The screen is very readable in bright light, and the picture quality is no less than a good pc w/ a great video card. I've had no issues at all w/ movies or apps. All of the connections are very tight and durable. I really can't say too much more than you won't be disappointed.
    Hope I helped.
    Thanks again,
    Jeremy
