Yeah I figured. I'm noticing HP doesn't come as easy as it did when I first started modding. Now every 1 HP seems to cost $100.00. Breaking the 500 mark is my next goal.

Good luck wih your ride man.

    I'll bite!
    1964 GTO
502 cubic inch GM crate engine
Holley Aluminum heads ported with a nice internal shine*
2 Holley Double Pumpers on a ported holley manifold
    Crane roller rockers
    Crane roller cam
9" ford with 4:11 gears, locked *** and tubbed

Pulled my fat *** to single digits digits 2 years ago.
Changing classes when we add the weiand supercharger
Never had it dyno tested, no plans to
If you ever come to the Motor City I'll meet you at the strip in Lapeer for a gentlemens bet

In seriousness though, those are impressive numbers for HP, what's the torque and where does it reach those numbers at? Ever take it to the strip?

now that would be fun. i took it to the strip before my quest to have the fastest car in two counties started. i ran a 12.7 on winter tires w/ pump gas. i have yet to take it back, and won't untill i know i'm done tuning. i was just on the dyno last week and my maf blew up on me so i was very limited on the ol' boost. on minimum allowable boost and pump gas i put down 340 awhp. i plan on doubling the boost w/ 110 this week. my new maf goes on tomorrow. sweet!!! looking to get about 600 at the wheels, which puts me at over 700 at the crank. not too bad for a 2.0 liter.

    Not bad at all.
I never did understand the fascination with trying to go fast in a little import, but then again I'm a motor head and hold detroit muscle close to my heart.
A guy I work with has a Honda S2000, just got a supercharge on it, we went to the strip last weekend and he pulled 13.4 on his best run. Has about $35,000.00 invested in that car.
For that much money I could build 8 G-Body (early 80's Malibu, Olds, Buicks, Monte Carols, etc) with SBC engines that would all beat that... but hey, I guess it's a stile thing. Maybe I'm just an old fart
    I am impressed though.

well i love the muscle cars as well, but you've got to give it up to a 2.0 liter that can hang w/ or beat down most of the v8's on the road. it's just amazing how far engines have come. I tell you one thing..... my evo sucks down the gas like it was a big detroit hog.
