    At lease he had all the requirement for so called "mp3car" in his car
    Power Supply...in the car...using car battery
    Computer....in the car
    Display....in the car
    Sound...in the car
    All working and mobile

    obviously he uses it for work or something and it sure as hell didnt take a lot of money, based on the "Our Rugged Portable Field Research Computer System".

    Actually we will be using this to preview photos in the field more than anything. We set it up on a small table with a car battery for power. It plays MP3 files just fine as well. I only need the screen when we're setup in the field. I figured this would get a few laughs here, and it rightfully did; it works for me though. Everyone has different requirments, and everyone meets those requirments as best they can with what they have to work with. I can carry enough spare parts to completely rebuild this thing in the field if required. We have tried a notebook, but it quickly fell apart with all of the rough treatment we put it through. That was the driving force here.

    bulletproof? I think not. We have 3 at my office, and although it is said it can be dropped and not broken, i wouldnt even want to try it. They are Touch screen though, which is pretty cool..
