Hey - that's a real nice one! Very clean!
Here is a URL to my install... I got all my help from this awesome forum...
I still have some work to do on the bezel.. Needs a little touch up work, little more sanding, and a good paint job and I should be good to go...
Can you please tell me the suplement programs you had for Mappoint?
I see that is Satir, how do you integrate the two

yunusyu: Just go look in the VOICES forum.. thats what I was using...
Hey veet ... looking good. I'm glad to see my frame idea worked out for you as well ... here's some questions:
1. Why did you opt to face the motherboard the oposite way I did? (with the ports to the back)
2. Any thoughts on where you'll put the cdrom? I'm thinking of trying to fab it in the overhead console somehow.
3. Looks like your frame came together a little cleaner than mine ... how'd you make it? I'm assuming cut the groove on a table saw? then cut at 45's? Did you just glue it together then? my frame lookslike crap from behind but it works.
good job so far ... hope you have better luck with the paint.
I am not sure what made me put the motherboard the opposite direction... I have a bunch of cables up in the front and I wanted to make sure the parking brake would still work... I think once I decided to mount my HD like I did, it didn't really matter... Right now my cdrom is stuck on the side of my center console with double sided sticky tape... I don't have a picture of it up on the site, but I will take one.... I cheated on the picture frame... I actually got my measurments and went up to the frame shop and had them make me a frame... It cost me like 2 dollars and ended up pretty perfect...
I am going to try and finish it up this weekend... Thanks for your painting tips..
man i didn't even think to try a framing shop. I guess i figured it'd be too expensive in this yuppie town of mine. Last time i was in a frame shop they were telling a guy I work with it was going to be $300+ to frame a painting about 11x13 or so.
Good luck ... keep us posted.
veetid, do you still have any pics of your install? I cannot reach your website from your original link.
