my buddy took care of the PS2 part of it. the ribbon connects to a second board that he had, and the PS2 part just connected to that through a small plastic 5 wire plug.
bummer as this is the only thing stopping me at the moment

OK right - nice gizzmo but... how offten are you going to use it in reality... v2 has been in my car now for 8 months.. out once - keyboard only used when setting it up... I use osk.exe - its cheeper and its easier as you only need a styless... worst case when moving musing around I use my lappy and VNC.. but I think I only did that once...
Just a thought( Sorry for interupting )

PS: - That aside those intergrated installs have a certain 'cool' factor even if they are not pratical.![]()
Get a Daulphin Keyboard if you can find one. That's what used when I did mine. You might have better luck at a computer show or mom and pop computer store.Originally Posted by Freeman

I guess it would be more useable in car environment...

Make the visor removeable. Then use one of those USB extensions that retract (like 30 inches max, and retract to like one inch) or use a wireless keyboard, just pop off the visor and set it in your lap![]()

I wanted to buy one of those backlit mini keyboards for mine and just keep it under the seat. Hardly ever type anything exept when setting up.
Well, I would love to have one of these in my visor! Saturns have a visor that is really hard to move, so it's like a piece of celing. Typing on it would be perfect because it can only be moved with a lot of force. I think this is very practical and you've done a great job!
