hey bud, i have a 96 integra and i also want to put in a 7" as you did. I was wondering why you didnt put the LCD in your single DIN spot, perhaps moving the car stereo down one notch and the LCD on top of that? Any advice/info about this would be great, i have so many questions about my carpc project that im currently planning!

(im sure i could use your wisdom on integras)

I was going for the stock look, so I didn't want to move the head unit. Also, I think you'll run into trouble with the LCD blocking and/or hitting the A/C controls.

noam... would u happen to know for a fact that if i put the LCD on the top DIN that it will hit the A/C controls? cause thats the only thing stopping me from starting my entire carpc project right now, otherwise i dont know what to do because i dont know how much longer im gonna keep this car and i dont wanna do major custom work on it. i dont mind if it covers the controls, as long as it doesnt actually hit them. Also, how much of a pain was it to place your pc case on the back of the seats? and was the wiring to the front also a pain? and finally... how are you powering your monitor? if its thru the power supply, how exactly did u do that? thansk again for all the help

Nice clean install. I love the USB port too. Looks like it could have been stock, if cars came with usb that is. Lol.

Chita79 -> I'm not 100% sure, but it sure likes like it to me. At the very least it will definitely block the controls and limit how far back you can push the LCD.
