Will the TM701-L indash housing fit in your BMW DIN?
OMG, this is so weird! I would imagine you will see things very clear at night with the backup lights on when doing reverse? Because I'm thinking about getting one![]()

That doesn't look like nightvision to me. I thought Nightvision was supposed to be green.

Love that avatar Cadence. Have you tried right clicking on the link and saving the vid? It won't work streaming directly as my website is very basic.
This vid was just a first test of the camera on the car. As you can see the visible distance in front of you is not very great, but bear in mind this is just from the 6 IR LEDs on the camera. The 2 IR arrays I will be adding should increase the distance and useability quite a bit, but for close up work this camera works so much better than I expected. I'll post a vid this weekend of the camera being used indoors, for those of you interested. It was only around $40 from ebay, and is well made too, with a metal housing to dissipate the heat from the LEDs, and light sensors to turn them on/off.
I haven't looked into the in dash housing for my lilli, but the bracket I designed works good enough for me, plus I couldn't afford to change my HU setup. My original idea was to make the air vent slide out, with the screen folding up into it when not in useThis was a bit too tight though, and a very hot day stuck in a traffic jam reminded that the air vents are actually very useful....
Is this working now? Can we have videos/pics? (The original ones dont work, says website not found)
Ya I want to see it too.Originally Posted by RoyN
