I personally haven't experienced degraded sound quality after putting in my Alpine deck, infact the sound is a huge improvement. However, I am not sure how it is connected becuase I didn't install the deck myself, I got it done at the store I bought it at.

I installed the Sony radio with an adapter that goes btwn the Sony and the original Bose cable adapter from the car. I didn’t have to cut any cables. Which was awesome.
I have good sound quality and the mp3 music from the input actually sounds clearer.

Wow, i am suprise to see similar car with the same project. Nycjun1, your Dashboard looks beautiful. can you post some more photo of your computer and how did cut and mount the screen. Be careful, don't park your car on the street. My Whole dashboard is gone, and my subwoofer is gone too. Be sure don't try to show cool, to your neighboor, you never know what they wanna do after seeing your stuffs.

Thanks. The Dremell tool works wonders.. I’m sorry but I didn’t take any photos of the process. I can describe it to you if you have any questions. I moved the AC/heat control down one slot. The monitor is attached to the panel with black plastic cement...and some Velcro pads on the edges to make a snug fit. I made holes for the switches patiently and they snapped right in.

Sorry to hear about your system. I know how much I would be ****ed off if some dumb%$*%$ did the same to me.

I have the same PC as you and I just bought a laptop car adapter off ebay for aprox $20 and It works perfect at 19V.

Blue- dont tell me they jacked up your infinity too. I really hope your talking about your other car.
