Nah, I just got it on the front dash, where the front tweeter can go. I get perfect locks. I'm going to fab it so it looks hidden. In the meantime, you don't notice it, unless you're looking for it. I'll get pics in a few days.

And yes, this was the car that got hit by the drunk, I'll post those pictures later. They should have totaled it. The estimates were way too low. They had to do some mad repairs, it seams fine now, but who knows 5 years from now. I'll post pics of the accident tonight.

Alright!!

I got the OBD II working. I'll have pics next weekend.
I used the interface from http://www.obddiagnostics.com - for $77 shipped , I think.
Downloaded the software for free from the site (only works with this interface I believe)

I didn't have a serial port on my bookpc, so this created a bit of a headache. I first ordered a usb-to-serial adapter off of compgeeks for $6. Bad idea..it turns out that many usb-to-serial adapters don't really work well. THey are made for palm pilots and printers only.

I ended getting a Belkin one for $20 or so. It works perfectly.

Another update: My little hard drive died this weekend (was planning on replacing it anyhow), so I stuck a 40GB WD drive.

Another update: I also ordered a cell phone - usb cable and will try to get internet working with my Sprint Vision phone.

very nice install, if it was'nt for the pc poking out the back it would be perfect.
forgive me because i am a complete newb but did you mount the lilli where one of those double size radios are? (think its called double din)

Question, I've ordered the underdash kit from handa-accessories for the head unit. I noticed on your site you talk about how much of a pain it was to install. And you have pictures on the site, but they dont work.....do you still have these pics?
