    FIAT PANDA PUTER Finished!!

    hello boys and girls!
    finally I made it!

    carputer:
    -pIII 800mhz
    -378mb sdram pc133
    -hd 7gb ibm
    -network realtek 10/100 rj45
    -videocard matrox g400 32mb
    -audiocard sound blaster awe 64
    -psu atx 400watt -> that supply power to external dvd usb ,psone display at 7,5v and give the start signal to the amply of 180watt
    -external usb dvdrom
    -psone rumblepad -> connectet to the lpt1 port
    -ati remote wonder -> used with uice to emulate keyboard

    software:
    -media engine (I'll change it with mediacar if in the new release of mediaengine the mp3 aren't sorted by filename), milkdrop used as vs
    -navipc 3
    -epsexe (for playstatione emulator)
    -powerdvd 6
    -windows xp nlite

    alimentazione:
    -inverter 600watt with modified sine wave, softstart (buy at dc/dc power supply you will evade a blood bath!)
    -autostart computer when inverter give current (bios setting)
    -ibernate at shutdown

    display:
    -lcd psone 5" with vga mod and c-sync

    How's the quality on that PSone lcd? Is it good enough quality to use without a problem?

    A carputer is never finished, there is always something more to integrate, to add on, to make more OEM looking

    that's true! I'll have a new incoming idea that wait only a time for implementation

    RS3RS:
    the quality it's good I'll see with a little bit of difficult a character at 9pt but it's better use 12pt

    the mod that I used is the vga mod for pal lcd

    yea the only thing you can say about a carputer is that it works.
    its up and running but there is always something else you want to do.

    Surely! I like it! but hehe but I don't know how many people share this passion in italy hehe

    I know another forum for italian carputer fan
    I can ask them all if they want join the first mp3car italian meeting
