Well sonofa, regardless it was a small 13$ investment. Hopefully I can find a way to getthe cables up there. To be honest, I'm more concerned about the wiring than fitting the bu-303. I just appreciate your attempting it first

Also, did you fit the new gps into the sharkfin?

    Thanks for the response.

The new gps went inside the car.. hidden under the rear strut bar.. and works better than the BU-303 ever did I still have the sharkfin up there.. only because if I were to take it off at this point, I'd be peeling off paint as well

Mike, I would love to just leave the receiver inside of the car, but i never get a lock on satellites, and as soon as I stretched the cable to the outside of the car and put it on the roof i get 9 locked satellites instantly. It really leads me to believe I'm going to have to have it outside.

it's been fine with only a minor issue: the upper right hand corner of the touchscreen is always slightly off by like 3-4 pixels?.. even after you calibrate it... a week later it's off again.. but the image is still bright and very sharp and touchscreen is 100% accurate everywhere else

I haven't really had any major issues with the carPC other than the old GPS mouse being sooooo unreliable this fall.

Hey Leemik, I love your Z, it looks great. I was curious, where abouts in MA do you live. I'm in the cape cod area and am planning to buy my Z in a week or so. If we were close by I was wondering if maybe I could check out your car sometime if you didn't mind.

    Custom Dash

Forgive me if I already asked you this, I am desperate to find a way to outfit my center console with carbon fiber like yours - but I have ran into a variety of imitations out there and a bunch of different textures. Can I ask where you had yours done and wheather it is a specific kit? How much did that cost?

    Thanks.

Maybe your windows have metal tint film on them...

The BU-303 seems to work much better when stuck on a metal base plate/roof/body panel, to stop signal reflections etc.

What car are you fitting it into?
