Sorry Cris, I don't have any pics of the antenna conversion.. I was rather frustrated at the time (because BU-303 was off by only like 1/8" !!!) and I didn't think to take pics.. I spent like 4 hours with the dremel trying to get that 1/8 to fit..
If I had to do it again.. I think I would find a slighly bigger shell..

@leemik, Great install man. I really like the shark fin cover for the gps receiver. Just one question about it. Did you see a difference in the reception after you covered the receiver with the cover? or are you still getting the same number of locks?
Installed

I really really want a 350Z track, but just way too expensive here in Australia and without any of the goodies from the factory (japan and US usually get better specs than we do). By the time it's on the road it's over $70k AUD.
So just stuck with my JDM 300ZX for a while.
I was looking at the pics of your car behind the seats (5th pic in the start of this thread) and took note of the location of sub and speakers behind the seat. The two speakers up high behind the seats, are these the only rear speakers in the Z, or another set further back?
I have just stripped the interior of my 2+2 Z for the stereo install and now thinking about making a similar layout as yours, where my rear seat was. Only thing was, do you find having the rear speakers and the sub facing towards you a problem? I keep thinking that the sound would be a bit annoying at that height. Any problems?
Again... you bastard
Cheers
Mark

Seriously though, your car is great.. if a brand new car wasn't very important to me (reliability, etc) and I was even somewhat of a tuner, I'd buy your car in a heartbeat.
Either, new or old, the z-car is great.
haha, I drooled over the 300ZX TT with T-tops in the 90's... but I could never afford it back thenOriginally Posted by tHeSmUrF
I still think they are very hott !!!
The speakers behind the headrest are the only ones in the rear.. There are none further back.. They may not be the best acoustical setup but they are not annoying.. The headrest blocks the speaker behind me so I can really only hear the passenger side rear speaker.. I usually turn my speaker 90% front anyways so rears are only for ambience.

Dude, superchaged Z rocks!!! I have a 380whp sentra SE-R that I sport in the summers and an AWD converted 87 Pulsar NX with SR20 swap for winters. Can't wait to get my autoPC running in there to help with my Emanage and the Conzult program.
Your install rocks dude, I pray mine can be as clean as that!!

Don't get me wrong, I still love my Z's (both are TT), I recently wrote one off but couldn't let it go, so I bought it back from the salavage auctions. Kinda like being married I guess.....don't worry about opening your wallet as you know it's already been emptied.
but every time I see a 350Z I just want one. Just wish they had turbo from the factory.
Leemik, after telling you that your a bastard I still forgot to say what an excellent job on the car. Not just the PC install but the whole car.
Job well done!
Cheers
