Nice, if my system wasn't going into my Z I would do something like this in my Ranger. I've seen the explorer overhead console mod in a Ranger but not the center console. Looks real sweet man.
For the keypad thing, if you own a 'remote entry ready' FORD (not sure, but I think they all come ready nowadays. ie. the necessary receivers and relays are inplace.) you can buy a keypad remote that sticks onto the door and works wirelessly. Battery's supposed to last 100,000 entries. I payed about $120 from the dealership, but the first quote I got was a different dealership wanted to charge $200 and install it. I was like, "let me get this straight: It sticks to the door and works wirelessly? I think I can do that myself, *****!"
I think it's worth it. Cheers.

Some additions...
1. USB GPS Mouse - Rikaline 6010
2. D-Link DWL-122 USB Wireless adapter.
3. Jabra BT250 Bluetooth Headset
4. Orange Blue2 Bluetooth USB Adapter
1. GPS - Now I have realtime routing and navigation. I can also use the GPS when war driving and it will remember where the hotspots are and tell me how far away I am from each of them.
2. Wifi - I can now copy files from my home network, get on the internet, and wardrive..
3. Jabra Headset - This is coming in today. With this wireless headset I can control the GPS navigation software (Routis) with Routis voice that 01331 wrote. I hope to evolve this and be able to control the Mp3 player (FrodoPlayer) as well.
4. Bluetooth adapter - enables connectivity to the headset and eventually a bluetooth phone.

Looks pretty good. Musta took a lot of work...
Where are you planning on running your USB wireless thing to? Is it just gonna hang on your dash?
Great additons. You should look into getting a Orinoco wifi USB Client. I have one and it has a MMC connecter on it for an external antenna. I added one and got like a 4.5dB boost. Really extended my range.
Very nice!!!
The Lilliput could use some bondo around the edges, that is what I did with my xenarc and my explorer

The wifi card is connected to a usb cable which gets routed down and into my center console to plug into a usb hub.. Does that answer your question?
ppgt94, how much was it for the Orinoco wifi card w/ antenna?

Do you have pictures? I have absolutely no experience w/ bondo. What do you suggest I do with it? Make them smoother or something?Originally Posted by ibrennan

Yeah, making it smoother is one way of putting it. I attached some early pictures of what I did. I am going to redo it soon so that the screen is actually flush with everything else, somewhat like yours.

I have a question about your Blutooth headset. I've been looking for a BT headset that will work for my Motorola V600, and for my computer. What I've found is that none of the ones that I have purchased work as a headset for the computer (voice chat on AIM, recording voice, etc...) does your's work like that?
BTW, great lookin install, keep it going!
Peace,
Rafster
