I have a TA and plan a similar screen setup. Did you have any problems with the angle as far as the colors or glare?

I believe both the camaro and TA have the radio area angled slightly towards the drivers side, does the screen still look good from the passengers seat?

The monitor is this one i think http://www.digitalww.com/VVTModule.htm
THey had it for a while, took it off the site, now that ones back and it appears to be the same as the one i have

As for veiwing area/angles...very very good. you can see it standing out side the car at about a 80* angle. perfect IMO

Still runnin fine. only prolem is that on hard shift, the jolt will cause the soundcard to fall out of the mobo plug. Hasn't damaged anything and its really easy to plug back in, just mostly an annoyance

Well... Sorry to bump an old post but I didn't realize there were some other Camaro brothers doing this. I did mine 3 years ago to my 1997 Camaro.

I pulled the Camaro button and used the additional 3 switch areas to add an in dash on/off, usb connectors, and radio switch. It is a little ragged here but I cleaned it up before installing.

I didn't want to lose what little trunk space I have and the guy down at the stereo shop said there was no other option. A slapped a 600 watt sub in the back and proved him wrong.

You have any pictures of it installed in your dash? and where did you put the computer?

I used to have 2 12'' in the back, sounded great but weighed in at about 90#. traded it out for one 10'' in the corner like yours and still sounds great and only weighs ~20#

It's fine if you want to start a new thread in the finished projects section. You can go crazy with pics as well. Just let me know the thread URL and I'll add your link to my F-body thread.

hey any chance youre still around? got a few questions...

how did you manage to mount the touchscreen without the bezel and ****...

considering it is 3 different parts and they need to be kept pretty much perfectly in line because of the touchscreen part

just wondering because im about to put mine in and i took it out of the case and just put it back together for now until i can figure out how to mount with everything together

    thanks
