What are those brackets that you used to mount the lilliput? I have a lilliput and my screen won't sit flush, did you get it to sit flush? Also, did you just screw into the back of the lilliput, or something else? Sorry for all the questions, but your install looks 10 times better than mine. I'd love to hear about how you got that lilli to sit in there so nicely. Thanks!Quote:

I then chopped off the edges of the back piece of the Lilliput case and used it as a mount for the controller board. I attached this to the door assembly with some small L brackets. It was kind of a pain to get it all lined up but it was worth it in the end. It's a rock solid mount and the screen is perfectly flush. Of course, this was made much easier by the fact that the dash was designed for a factory nav system and already had a hole for a 7" screen...
Thanks for providing the pictures! I was hoping that you were able to get it flush without taking it out of the case....but I figured that was asking too much ;) This is one reason that I wish I had gotten a Xenarc, because the front of its case seems to be flat. I may just end up taking it out of the casing...but we'll have to see about that. A lot of people have problems with their lillis when they open the case...and I want to avoid that. Thanks again!
I think the pretzel in the Lilliput chain is that flex cable that attaches the screen to the controller. If you're careful with it and make sure it's fully seated when you close the connectors you should be fine. Oh yeah, don't break one of the connectors like I did. :DQuote:

I just have to find a way to bond the two pieces together and then get them attached to my radio bezel. I am currently working on it inbetween other projects, as it is not top priority at this moment.Quote:

I ended up taking the radio out and replacing it with a TS.
