ouchhh . rm400 !! I'm trying to use maestro diy power supply . much cheaper .
i think i want to buy the screen from brothers . rm368 for a 7.2" screen with car adapter and remote .
yaah . the inverter is too bulky and i can't use it more than 2 hours . it don't have any fan .
what is "maestro" diy power supply mean? is it a brand name? I have tried to use for 2 weeks real test already, now it seem like not stable. Every time pc will hang when the voltage drop below 11.5v. Now still no idea how to comfirm whether cause by this problem and how to resolve the problem. :confused:
hey guys... good to hear a malaysians doing this.... i have mine completed for my final year project but now am going to enhanced it.... how much is the touch screen la? sounds good eh?
for my carputer i even build my own sware for it.... terpaksa coz for my project mah :p lol
I think it is 'Mastero' power supply the guy is from India. It is a design to build your own (DIY=do it yourself)

I was using an inverter until about 1 week ago, it was loud and huge wall warts were plugged wasting all the center console space. The Carnetix that I have now is real good.

like choyak said , mastero diy power supply is a "do-it-yourself" power supply project . this DIY project is made for cars so don't worry . you can buy the parts from mastero directly .
