Looks interestingIs that a VGA screen?
The In-Car PC comes with a 1GHz CPU, Micro ATX motherboard with USB, network, audio integrated and 256 DDR RAM, ASUS Display Card with video output, notebook’s hard disk, notebook’s CD-ROM drive, ITPS, DC converter and a remote control with a sleek little Infra-red receiver. The PC can be run without the ignition on because I have a 12v battery for backup.![]()

My 2nd carputer - b4 I broke the touchscreen
My very first carputer - voted the most ghetto
Nice installation, what is the sound connected to?
There is no vga monitor on malaysia market at the moment. This is a TFT monitor with resonable price. I have feed the pc audio output to the original car factory player by using a little bit of electronic knowledge without any external audio amplifier. Everything is done by trial and error....luckily no burning smell during my testing....ha ha.

My advice is try not to use the dc ac converter because it look bulky and power wasted cause dc to ac then down to dc involve some power loss. buy the dc psu coverter from mp3.com or other web site. But if you bought the dc ac converter allready, you can go to this web site for your reference:Originally Posted by supasigma

it is a nice web site from malaysian.
My backup battery is connected as a parallel with the car battery. when ever the car battery voltage drop, the backup battery will maintain the voltage.

you can get the lilliput from this fellow,maschmagic@hotmail.com,he is malaysian too..lasttime i checked he still has one lilliput lcd with ts for sale.
Wow . very nice . I'm from Selangor . I own a charade g11 (1984) and i having trouble to put the car-pc . Kelisa trunk are a little bit bigger than mine .

Daihatsu Charade G11R Turbo
I paying my roadtax , car , bike , life insurances , telephone bills , house premium , grocery , anything i pay monthly . But what did i get ? I EARN AND GET EVERYTHING !
I bought the DC converter online.
"http://www.lex.com.tw:8080/product/Accessory-PowerBoard.htm#" cost me about RM 400 over, It provide a stable DC voltage. I dont choose an inverter because It seem like bulky and wasted a lot of power. If you using Inverter, I have found a good website created by a malaysian "http://www.marauderzstuff.com/articles/systemdotnet/index.htm", take this as reference.
The screen is AV input that I bought from Pasar Road electronic shop, brand "ZhuoPai". There is still a lot of choices depend on your budget.
Good luck and share with us your experince and problem.
