Very nice - great install and great car. The only thing I don't like is the auto.....

Anyway, this drive left/right-hand drive thing didn't start when cars were invented (in Europe) - in Britain, keeping to the left as you passed someone coming the other way (whether you're on a horse or a horse-drawn cart) is said to derive from Roman times (although quite how majority of mainland Europe stayed on the other side is a complete mystery to me....). British traders also probably passed this on to the Japanese. The former colonies of Hong Kong/Macau are right-hand drive too, even though China is left-hand drive, and well, you can probably guess why NZ and Australia have adopted this too.
America is probably left-driving because of all the Europeans that went there.
I think right-hand drive models are just an excuse for manufacturers to charge extortionate rates to a smaller market anyway...

I have never driven a car in a right hand drive country, but i imagine it would take some getting used to!! I mean, I drive with my left hand on the gear stick, and it feels so natural. The thought of using my right hand to change gears just seems alien to me. Is the accellerator still the right foot in other countries?

You mean left hand drive I suspect. Australia is right hand drive!

Yes - it is confusing to swap sides. I was driving a Chevy somethingorother around Wisconsin last year, and turning across traffic when turning left was weird. Luckily it was a small town, so I didn't manage to maim anyone.

Yeah first thing I did when driving a left-hand drive car side was to turn straight into the oncoming lane.....

Luckily, you get used to it quite quickly - the hardest part is judging how much space you have on the passenger side when you're passing parked cars

it's wuite easy once you get the hang of it. I remember I nearly turned into oncoming traffic in LA one time. The look on the peoples faces waiting at the lights

Riding a motorbike can be interesting in a different country. The bike is the same layout in every country but you have to remember you are suppose to be on the wrong side of the road. At least with a car you are sitting on the wrong side to remind you!
