Very nice - great install and great car. The only thing I don't like is the auto.....![]()
Anyway, this drive left/right-hand drive thing didn't start when cars were invented (in Europe) - in Britain, keeping to the left as you passed someone coming the other way (whether you're on a horse or a horse-drawn cart) is said to derive from Roman times (although quite how majority of mainland Europe stayed on the other side is a complete mystery to me....). British traders also probably passed this on to the Japanese. The former colonies of Hong Kong/Macau are right-hand drive too, even though China is left-hand drive, and well, you can probably guess why NZ and Australia have adopted this too.
America is probably left-driving because of all the Europeans that went there.
I think right-hand drive models are just an excuse for manufacturers to charge extortionate rates to a smaller market anyway...
