03 Jetta GLI carputer

I just finished painting the trim piece and theres a few flaws but i think im going to leave it in for a month or two until i redo it.

I copied a lot of someone elses design, i cant remember who it was but if you see this props to you! haha

Looks good. Yea, I did mine, now I am touching it up again after about 2 months. Becuase I wanted to use it a bit first.

What made you decide to keep that bevel above the buttons?

Another person on here with a jetta decided to do that, and i think it looked real good. It seems to bring the buttons to the screen so they are not just floating around in space. I kind of messed it up though so i might have to end up filling it in

do you dubbers have problems seeing the lcd at that angle? and also for the passanger? I gotta tell you when my screen is that vertical I have to tilt my head down to see it sometimes.

actually for the driver i think that its pretty good. The whole center console is aimed towards the driver so your looking at it from straight on kind of. i think the view sucks a lot more for the passenger but im selfish and im all that matters

ill get some pics of the computer up in a bit right now its scattered everywhere

i angled mine up about 10 degrees
it helps a little
i have a tan interior so i get mad glare

you guys have any trouble using the touchscreen? I know with my indash case i often grab the whole screen with my right hand and position my one finger as the pointer usnig my whole hand to stabilize.

I only ask because my hu took a crapper today so i might do the whole bondoed in screen.
