that's a sexy screen install
I used Car DC/AC Invertor 12V DC to 110V AC (100 Watts) to power the system.
It doens't go to standly mode when I turn the car off. May be I should work on it.

I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.

Yes, certain times of the day there is a problem with the glare. Not enough to make it unreadable, but not like it looks at night time either. If I had to put a % on it, I'd say the glare bothers me 5% of the time. The other 95% is fine.Originally Posted by bosstone74

Other than the glare issue, visability is great. Love the location of the monitor. Easy to see, doesn't take your eyes off the road too much. I think the only better location would be a heads up display.Originally Posted by bosstone74

I am thinking of moving the monitor to upper din slot.
However, it will block the A/C air-flow.
Also, i have to find a mounting kit to mount the monitor......>_<

Why not put it in the lower DIN? that way it wouldn't affect the a/c vents.

Dredging up an old thread..I know..but I really like this install I have an 00 civic and I'm trying to decide if the stealth factor outweighs visibility. Can't enjoy the screen at all If somebody steals it...
