Seems like it's the most popular site on ecanfix.com today. Seriously Dave, congrats on a well executed install. Amazing how similar my 91 stealth TT turned out, considering we just talked about our progress thru ICQ lol.

Hey quit trying to thread jack! I will steal all your bandwidth if it serves my purposes!! MWAHAHAHAHA

Oh.. btw.. Vinny, thanks for letting me use your bandwidth

It's an awesome tool... MAXNC is the maker.... and my specific one is the MAXNC 15 CL
Yahoo has a community group where MAXNC owners talk... tons of info there also.

My only warning... if you really enjoy something like this... and want to do
alot of different types of cnc'ing... make sure you get enough machine the first time.
This machine is great but has its limits. Being a Mechanical Engineer, my ideas
    have quickly outgrown this machine...

Still useful and fun, but for double the money~ish I could get a used cnc bridgeport..
granted old.. but functional... and do some serious heavy duty milling.

I see one in my near future when garage space allows

The mini-amp sounds really good actually... I was sorta skeptical when I got it, but it
provides more than enough umph for a center channel.

I put a carputer in my brother-in-laws work van for navigation and xm control only,
and I used that same mini-amp to run 2 small speakers for nav only. It is very loud and
is easily heard over the car speakers playing music.

I got an email a few weeks back and it was actually on sale for an even cheaper price fyi.

i am looking into installing a car pc in my g/f's montero...i was inspired by your install, it looks as if it were made for a pc.

i am very jealous of your cnc mill though!

gr8 install m8, its good to see people use laptops as their car pc, if u dont mind me asking how did u rewire the power switch on ur laptop so u could press the botton from the outside? reason why im asking this is that im planning to use my laptop as my carpc also.
