Acura TL 2004

looks good i notice with routis the screen resolution is nice and big(buttons easy to c and waypoints). what resolution is that? how are ur buttons on scrren so big with routis mine are so small(800x600) only thing i can make bigger is the file edit buttons no on screen visuals any bigger.

Howd you get that side button panel for the bluetooth internet? Also how do you have the bluetooth set up? With a dongle or somthin? Awesome install BTW

Yeah Belkin bluetooth dongle. That side panel is from MobileWeb app running with Mediacar. Search the forums.
Basically my phone is bluetooth capable so i setup a dial up networking between the PC to the bluetooth phone/modem. Set it to auto-dial and connect so if i open any web page it connects to the phone and dials out. Connects really fast also..on Verizon i get 115kbits/sec. Best of all i don't get charged for any data usage, only minutes.

Where did you get that folding keyboard... it is for a Palm?

Pretty steep but its bluetooth and didn't want to add any more wires, ir receivers, etc Also using with my PocketPC so it serves two purposes.

very nice pick up on the keyboard!

I am so ready to do my carpc project to and even i didnt deal too much with electronics before I am still going to bull head charge in

. I have so many bad solder job done on previous overclock pc motherboard and also I just order COLDHEAT solder gun for the project.

now my biggest headache is how to get 5.1 sound output to the stock amp. By the way, I drop the idea of getting creative usb sound card. I found out that my Armada E500 notebook has a docking station which will enable me to have 3 pci slots and 2 additional multi-bay, not to mention ps/2 port and also 2 usb port and etc port. moahdib thanks again for showing the way! the theads in acura-tl.com about the stock amp, how to take the front panel off is so useful

Did you say stocking station??? LOL
you meant docking station right....
THose connectors might work. But you gonna need relays to switch the amp input from your radio or from your 5.1 USB card unless you plan not to use your radio at all.

ahhhh.....a 2004 acura TL......everytime i see one on the road, makes me think "why didn't i wait ONE more year!!"

now you come along with your fancy computer installed in your fancy TL and i just downright want to kill myself
