Wow what a long two days in the garage. I LOVE IT!
In order to put my second battery under my hood i had to cut out my radiator overflow tank. After removing it I made a base for it out of scrap aluminum i had laying around.
Here is a pic of where i placed the new overflow tank/resevoir, that i got from the junk yard out of a 92 geo metro.
The base for the battery.

Here is the only place I could find to put my isolator from NAPA for $75.00. I hope this will be fine if it gets wet???I might have to make something for it.

Yes its an explorer. The only problems I have had were heat issues. Over heating of the itps a few times and over heating the lilliput. I put two fans on the back of the screen and bought an opus90w. Im thinking im set for now. I dont think i would have or could have done it any other way.

Ok guys i need your help. I got my camera yesterday. 3 Day shipping instead of 2 weeks. I took out my rear windshield wipper and I used a power mirror to control the camera, but im having a problem.
Here is a clip of how well it works with out the rubber piece.
See i have a very large range of motion. With the rubber piece, it will not allow the camera to turn as far. It gets id say about 1/4 of an inch and stops. I need some help figuring out what i can use to replace that piece that will give me the tight seal and range of motion i want. I have been looking at everything and thinking of everything i can. I could possibly make one out of some scrap rubber but im not to sure it would turn out as well nor do i know exactly how i would go about doing it. Any ideas?
Here is a pic of the camera in the rubber piece.

That is SICK! I love it! Not sure what your rubber piece is made of, but I would look into a rubber grommet and put some grease around the inside dges so the camera moves around easier.

Dude that's sick! What about like the material they use on lawn chairs? Or some type of strong cloth that will give but keep moisture out. That way it would definitely be flexable. That's such an awesome idea though, mad props.
