Thread: My Viahicle install

Ok so i tested it inside. At first nothing worked. So, like i aways do, is take it apart. After taking it apart I found where the problems might be. Here is a clip of what it is doing. Sorry about it being dark i didnt get smart and turn the lights on till i took a pic. As you can see in the clip when i press down on it(pressing down is needed to screw the top piece back on)
When I placed the top back on this is the picture i get (Green)

Below is a pic of the piece that is messing up. And i just really messed up taking the top off to take this pic. When taking the top off or putting it on im not to sure the damn thing twisted and a capictor broke off. Grrrr not the way i wanted to start my day.

Also there was a green wire under that square camera piece that looked to be cut disconnected from something. Ima email the guy today and see how it goes. Ill let ya know.

From the factory there was a cable that ran from the battery to the starter. In the middle there was some insulation stripped off and a ring terminal clamped on. The ring terminal bolted to the wire from the alternator. This was in a plastic box mounted where the isolator now is. It was a perfect fit and I didnt have to modify the factory wires in any way. Battery/Starter wire on terminal one, alternator wire on the other isolator terminal. I even found a wiring harness that plugged inline with the alternator to give me the sense wire that is required.

oh sorry the free image host i put them on pooped out. I have been to lazy/busy to find all the pics and post them again. Id serve them on my computer but i turn it off at night. Sorry guys ill work on it soon. Oh yeah i got my camera installed a long time ago too lol. Ill have to keep up.

Actually i have a little bit of time now ill see what i can do.

Edit: oh crap i lost a bunch of them some where. They might be on a back up disk. Ill have to do this later and take more pics

i was using a cheapo one, because i was in a ****y mood that day. I think i might try one of those or image shack. Ok gots to go ill try working on this tonight if im not wore out.
