Well guys,, finally finished most of my install,, still got a few minor things to do but for the whole its all up and running..

let me know what ya think.

main project details are here on my site.

starting point, my tool tray.

mobo and HD base unit.

in situ although now the HD is in an ICY Dock and sits vertically so i can remove the
HD.

Opus tucked away.

stage 1 of the customdash fabrication.

end result..

fitted in the car.

fired up shot (inthe dark lol)

im running media engine at the mo, although i would like to run mediacar so i can get a nice Lexus skin (anyone anyone lol my photoshop skills are not)

That looks cool! You guys with your bezels...I wish I my car had an existing bezel to work with... Guess that's what I get for trying to mod a car that is too old!

Seriously though, nice job. I'd like to see the trunk area when it's done. It would've been slick to get the IS nav pod with the motorized function to fab it into. I'm sure that would've been pretty tough to do and very expensive.

i didnt go for thre oem nav replacement cause it was too much work, maybe i the future i will..

Great looking setup. The bezel looks awesome! It looks very stock - how did you get the trapezoid shaped bezel cut correctly? I have an ES300 and I'm having trouble crafting the trapezoid-shaped bezel to look nice. Any tips or pointers would be appreciated.

Also, that looks like 3 DIN slots right there - the IS really has that much room in the dash???

Yeah, I figured that could get very complicated, quickly! Your bezel came out great.

That looks REAL nice... whats the trunk look like? Is it complete? If so, post up some pics... I'm sure it looks as nice as the dash though, right? TTYL!
