updates, the interior is done, somehow my amp was blown when I got it back from the upholstery shop so no tunes it's not like I don't have a bunch of amps to throw in here, but I welded in custom bracketry for the mcintosh & would rather get the same amp. haven't really used this minivan much except for home depot runs really, haulin ceramic tile in my new custom interior I'll finish off all the bezels & console & then get some pictures up

I bought a house & much of my spare time is there, redoing some rooms & my bathroom, ton of work.

I also am going to get rid of the caddy too (anyone want it? nice car) I got a new truck

I got an 03 infiniti fx35, it's pretty cool, it has the sports package & what's called a tech package, with navigation, satilite radio, mp3's, it has an adaptive cruise control system that works with it's own radar sensor in the bumper (cool)

I'm not going to just leave it as-is though, I'm in the middle of a custom install of a 10.4" reflective screen in that dash, factory screen relocated to overhead & a whole new dash going in (08 style). I updated the whole ezterior to the new 08 style trim, bumper & grille I also did a custom black pearl paintjob, got some nice black & chrome 3 piece 20's, it should be finished in a few weeks. that one I don't even want to start a thread until it's done, the past 2 projects I posted here never materialized & I didn't want to put that one up here until it was finished well, at least at phase one, there never actually finished

phaze 2 is hard to say, considering a whole audio upgrade with the driverack & all, that's just a maybe at this point though, phase 1 is integrated with the factory bose

heres a few "under construction" shots, this truck was also hit in the nose & blown airbag like the montana was when I got it, it was silver up until a week ago

I'll put a thread up for it when it's done.

Sweet, it reminds me of a Alpine show car for some reason. It looks like 22's might even fit. Big wheel wells on those things.

strange man, where you see alpine showcar??? I wish

guys have done 24"s on this truck, but the ride sucks, these trucks are pretty stiff ride to begin with, I wouldn't go bigger than 20"s personally, I considered 22"s but decided to stay 20", I'm probably going to lower it a bit too, hope that don't kill the ride, most say it don't, but I think that's just because they don't want to admit it

yeah, I'm definaley not the kind of guy who goes out & spends 6-7 grand on wheels so I can say hey, look at me (unless it's a showcar), but this whole truck kinda came togeather through pure luck, I mean those wheels, over 5 grand new:shock:, no way, I've built whole cars for less but they winded up costing me only like $800 after selling the original 20"s there was no way I couldn't put those wheels on the truck really

OK, thread back from the dead.... cause I'm bringing this Montana back from the dead

it's been laying around unused & abused for about a year & 1/2 now... a few people have screwed me with this minivan & I lost all interest & desire with it.... first my interior guy charged me a fortune to destroy my interior, then second interior guy straightened out the interior but blew my amp... then I lent the truck to a friend for a few months & he dented it, scratched it, AND smashed the LCD & touchscreen "accidentally", also accidentally screwed up the backs of the brand new seats....... every time I look at this truck I just get disgusted with it & ignore it.... got to the point that I get sick of it each time I see it....

I figured the only way I'm going to give this thing any love again is I gotta not see the same truck when I look at it, sooo after 1 1/2 years of neglect & abandonment, I decided to take it all apart & redo it, painting it a new Lexus Grey, I'll put it back together & finish it off to be nice again.... I've moved on to another better car & better install with my fx, but no reason to see this truck go to waste... still a nice car to have around, & I miss the system in this thing too...

just a bump & an update to this thread.... she'll be back soon, & better than ever
