Nice looking pics...any more pics of the truck?![]()
2 weeks ago I traded in my 04 Nissan Frontier. I have another family member coming along in 3 months and the Frontier just does not provide the room needed. I was worried about taking a beating on it trading it in but as luck would have it, I took no beating whatsoever. Helps to have friends
So now to the new vehicle, an 04 Nissan Titan KC 4WD SE. Sweet! but I have been missing my car computer so I finally got it installed last night.
Same deal as with my Frontier, just a mid-level Kenwood Excelon and the digitallww in-dash housing Lilliput.
The computer is a P4-1.8 using a Shuttle FB51 Mainboard, 512 Ram, yada yada that I have mounted in a custom enclosure under the driver's seat being powered with the Opus 150.
The computer is running Windows XP. I use Frodoplayer as my front-end for playing MP3's & XM Radio. For navigation I am using iGuidance 2.0.
Here are some pics, I apologize for the quality but for some reason inside the garage in the dark I can not get this thing to focus (go figure!).
Brief Description of files

(so.jpg) Screen open and tilted towards driver side.

I am embarrassed to admit but I purposely did not take any pics of the truck because it is dirty! When I get into daylight I plan to take some better pics of the system and of a clean truck. I'll post them here when I do post.Originally Posted by oekundar

So you guys know, I did post a new message with much cleaner pics but back to the question. I did not take any pics of the computer because it is simply a 11" x 14" x 4" aluminum box with some wires coming out of it that is under the driver's seat. It is nothing special although it is clean looking.Originally Posted by jbougie
Thanks to Nissan's design, there is a plastic piece that goes from the seat to the floor on the door side so you cannot see under the seats. The only access is from front or rear, made the install very easy and no one knows it's there except for me.
I suppose I could snap some pics of you are really interested.
