as for the heat shrink on the speakers, we have written a + and - on the leads, but we do have different colored heat shrink on the 1/0 + and - in the car hooked up to the distribution....

thanks Altimat - a little update on the rack, we ground all the welds down and decided that we wanted to show off the fact that it was all welded together so it's at the body shop right now. the body guy is going to lay a nice bead down then paint it a gun metal silver to help break up the color in the back and highlight the machined heat sinks on the amps.

The body shop said that he should have that done by Friday at the latest. The dash and center console SHOULD be done today....gawd I hope so, I have so many people wanting to see pics of the finished product....that's pushing me to finish more than my own will right now...lol Need to get it done soon since today is the first day of the spring semester. =]

    Little stuff:

this is pretty much just loading and securing the battery, and the wiring that goes with it, nothing too exciting.....hope to finish this part of the project tonight!

It's the speaker terminal strip. So far it's just got the highs and mids (not running crossovers since the focals will be run in active via the processor), the bottom 4 are for the subs.
