I'm starting my custom install this week. I've been looking for the battery terminals, but the cheapest I found them was $51. How much did you pay if you don't mind me asking?

lol - thanks, not completely done, but the general part of the install is finished. Once it's all done and the car is washed, I will be taking some better overall pictures so y'all can get a better idea of how it all looks.

For that flexing, try Cable Organizers, they seem to have better pricing, at least on the PET braided sleeving.

yeah - but to take apart my ac controlls is a whole nother can of worms...and that piece is EXPENSIVE! lol

as for the loom - there are a lot of other places that sell PET loom....and probably a lot cheaper as well. If you want the specialty stuff though you will be paying for it. There is a lot of technology and research that goes into developing that stuff. For instance, the fire retardant stuff wasn't cheap but I feel better knowing that I won't have as much of a chance for a fire again...lol

damn midas and their ill trained installers....heh

    it's not a head unit - it's a processor.....Alpine PXA-H700 processor

Red VW GTi should be my VWvortex s/n (or Red GTi VR6) but I'm not really active on there any more.....too much BS to weed through to get to anything worth while, that and there are a bunch of immiture little brats that seem to prefer to smack talk than learn anything - when I was into modding the GTi I found many more local forums that would give me more information.

But I'm not really into modding the dub any more....not with a supercharged Dakta R/T and a motorcycle...lol

also - to note about hte M1 - it appears that the problem is NOT the M1 - it appears that the problem is the MAPOWER dvd-rom external enclosuer - it seems that the board in there is on the fritz and needs to be replaced....have one coming from NewEgg....hopefully it will be here before this weekend!
