This is a pic of the EMT that we are using for the bars.....we had to sand down the galvanizing finish to prepare the pipes for MIG welding....

    Our new toy: hehehe

The final location of the amp rack....like how we tried to protect the rest of the car? lol gotta work with what you have!

To mount the amps to the rack we decided to use some t-nuts that we flattened out and then curved to match the curve of the pipe....we then used Super Glues Metal Epoxy....it's sitting up right now...

And another pic of one of my first welds....lol - still need a lot of practice, but this stuff won't be load bearing, nor will you be able to see the welds once we fill it all in and have it painted.

    That's it for now!

Ok - so here's what little we got done this weekend....metal work takes a while...lol

The ends of the amp rack were rounded:

The tray for the battery bracket to mount to:

This is the battery bracket I will be using:

Upgrading factory grounding with a 1/0, also upgraded the starter power wire to a 1/0 as well....

Power and ground and speaker distribution:

This is all going to be hidden behind the passanger side read pannel. We have removed the speaker grill so that we can easily replace and check the fuses here by just popping out the grill.

The final design for the 'case' if you will, it's not very pretty but it will never be seen, except by those of you here:

Mobo/sound card, haven't tested the sound card yet, will post and let know how it works out:

Hard drive and my crazy mounting method, everything on the board is mounted so that I can easily remove and replace each component without removing the entire board:

    The processor brain:
