    2001 BMW 323i CarPC project

    My thread has disappeared Let's try again...

    It's been like 6 months since I installed a computer inside the car, and yet I've managed to forget posting this project

    That looks great. Is that 6.5" screen? Very nice custom job! Who did the screen mount?

    under the galary section of his site he says
    "Notice there is a hole I made. I'm going to use this for my Griffin PowerMate. I'll use the original volume knob from BMW tape unit as the controller."

    I can. But prolly won't Takes too much time Sorreee. But check this guy out:
    2003 BMW M3 Custom Dash / Overhead Console He has the whole process well documented. If yuo feel not up to it check srcstc BMW E46 Custom dash trim for a Xenarc LCD I think he'll be willing to mod one for ya!!

    No. But you will need to have a small solder because you need to move the wiring from front to back. Sorry I didn't take a picture of that.
