How did you put the screen on your dash?? Ik like it because I haven't got place for a in dash and don't want to wreck my dash!!

I bought a spacer off ebay for about $25 and then "modded" myself a metal bracket which screws into the back of the screen.. it's a little fiddly but it works. Ideally I want to get an in-dash touch screen because getting to the climate control is a bit of hit n miss but dont have the $$$ for a better screen yet. i've seen a custom airbag console made which sits on the passengers side with a 7" screen moulded into it.. More of a show car though and would have cost quite a bit to make up.

update: I got USB GPS reciever so soon I will have GPS setup.. I want to get some voice GPS software so i can not only input directions via voice activation but have it read the route back to me as I drive it..

hey when you say the 12v morex - is that the car kit or just the morex?

i orriginally bought a morex 80W power supply only and I supidly didn't fuse it and managed to blow it up.. so i thought i'd buy a morex micro case with a 60W version of the same power supply buit-in but didn't come with the 12V regulator which I took off the other 80W power supply i had which still worked good. so now i tapped off the 1 farad capacitor in the back of my car that i use to power my amps and that goes straight to the back of the case no problems at all.. little drain on the battery also compared to a bulky power inverter..

oh. So u using the actual morex car regulator. I heard somwhere that you could only connect that to the morex psu's with a certain type of regulator

nah it works perfectly.. i can't understand why people dont do that rather than a big power inverter. I did a lot of research about 12v power supplies and this was the best for the money as it already comes with atx type connectors and everything you need to hookup a pc.. just won't work with anything that's p4 or above.

I have got the first board. Note no connector/jumpers or whatever.

Morex (or one of their retailers) told me that my board has to be the 2nd type with the jumpers.
Which of the two have you got? (Both the links u posted had these jumpers)
